Sin City 2 - Sin City Movie Sequel

A Sin City 2 movie is a kind of long overdue, we've been hearing about a movie sequel to Sin City since early 2007, with Frank Miller promoting the project:

"Sin City 2 is written. It's mainly a matter of working out the details of the production. I'm hoping to do it with Robert Rodriguez again in the same circumstances that we did the first one."

It's quite surprising that the sequel hasn't been produced so far knowing that the first film has become cult and that fans would love to see a sequel. But there is some hope now!

Producer Stephen L'Heureux said indeed that the movie Sin City 2 will go into production in the second half of 2010! Frank Miller must be glad that his script will finally be used. He will also co-direct the film with Robert Rodriguez.

Because the wait has been quite long, Rodriguez knows that expectations are high for Sin City 2:

"I think its built up so much, like are we really going to satisfy everybody with what we have, should we add to it. It’s the thing we’ve always talked about but now two years later going on three we’d probably make some adjustments but nothing that would take a long time. It's just a matter of…once we start…we can go into production…we can already start and in pre production for this up to anything we wanted to."

Well, he shouldn't be so modest: Rodriguez and Miller make a hell of a team, and I can't imagine them disappointing us with the movie Sin City 2! So bring it on, as soon as possible!
